Every brass idol is sand-cast in solid brass by the metalsmiths of Moradabad and hand-finished in antique or bright-polished tones. Brass is durable, travels well and develops a rich patina — a favourite for daily worship, temple use and gifting. Shiva represents the transformative power that dissolves the old to make way for the new — destruction in service of renewal. As Nataraja he dances the rhythm of the cosmos; as the Shivling he is the formless infinite.
