Terms of Service

Gharana is a heritage marketplace for Indian craft across four worlds — devotion, handloom, craft and home. Products are sold either by Gharana directly or by independent sellers on the platform (shown as "Sold by …"). In all cases you pay Gharana, and Gharana handles the storefront, packaging, delivery and payments.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is confirmed once payment succeeds and we send confirmation. We may cancel and fully refund an order if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or cannot be fulfilled — we'll always tell you why.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The full breakdown — item total, delivery and taxes — is shown at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden charges added after payment.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, and other supported methods). Gharana does not store your full card details.

Approved sellers may list products, which are reviewed before going live. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the quality and authenticity of their products. Gharana charges a transparent per-sale commission (shown in the seller dashboard and on every order) and settles the seller's share after delivery and the return window — see the seller guide.

Gharana may decline, pause, or remove a seller or listing that breaches these terms or harms the trust of the marketplace.

Use Gharana lawfully. Don't misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, infringe others' rights, or provide false information. Accounts found abusing the platform (fraudulent orders, fake reviews, counterfeit goods) may be suspended.

The Gharana name, logo, site design and content are owned by Gharana or its licensors. Product images and descriptions provided by sellers remain their responsibility. You may not copy or reuse content without permission.

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Returns & Refunds policy and Shipping policy, which form part of these terms.

We work hard to describe products accurately and deliver them safely, but to the extent permitted by law, Gharana's liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Himachal Pradesh.
