Every marble idol is hand-carved from a single block of white marble by master craftsmen of Jaipur, then finished by hand with fine detailing and, on request, gold or meenakari work. Marble is prized for its cool purity and is the classic choice for a home-mandir murti you keep for generations. Worshipped first in any puja, Ganesha governs wisdom, auspicious beginnings and the removal of obstacles (vighna). His large ears signify deep listening, the broken tusk sacrifice, and the modak the sweetness of spiritual reward. A left-trunk idol is favoured for home peace; a right-trunk (siddhi) idol for intense sadhana.
A seated (lalitasana) Ganesha with the trunk tilted to his left is considered most auspicious for the home — it represents calm, prosperity and ease. White marble or brass in a 6–12 inch size suits most home mandirs.
Place Ganesha facing north, north-east or west, with the idol against an east/north wall. Avoid placing him facing south or directly facing a door from outside. Keep him with Riddhi-Siddhi or alongside Lakshmi for prosperity.
A left-curved trunk (Vamamukhi) is for household worship — peaceful and prosperity-giving. A right-curved trunk (Dakshinamukhi) is powerful and demands strict ritual discipline, so it is usually kept in temples, not homes.
Yes — our marble idols are hand-carved from natural white marble, not resin or marble-dust composite unless stated. Each piece is unique, with subtle natural veining, and finished by hand.
